Our impression of Malaysia is very good. Food is wonderful with lots of spices and flavors.
Malaysia is a big melting pot of cultures. Malay, Chinese, and Indian all living in harmony.
There are huge mega malls everywhere and those are a good place to hangout during the day due to the heat.
At night the temperature is perfect though, especially since the sun is not shining down on you.
To get around town you can use the Metro or for areas not covered by metro take a ‘Grab’. Which is the asia version of Uber.
Malaysia is very affordable and housing is plentiful.
One thing to be careful of is drivers are a little bit agressive so watch yourself when crossing streets.
The people are very friendly and welcoming, and english is spoken everywhere.
Next time I think we will stay for a month or more and try some of the resort areas outside of the big city.
Didn’t get a chance to play tennis but I noticed there are courts and they even have some indoor courts for ‘padal’, which is the europe/asia version of pickleball.
