Given the very modern and liveable cities it’s amazing that hotel and lodging prices can be so resonable in Japan.
Here are some resonable options to consider when visiting
Kansai Osaka Kobe Region
the b Hotel in Kobe
From $38 to ~$55 a night Located in a very lively area of Kobe and even right next to a Don Quixote megastore
Hotel It Osaka Shinmachi From $67
Hotel Vine Osaka Kitahama From $58 The hotel vine is one of my favorites. It’s clean and simple. Rooms are a little bit on the small size but average for Japan. I really like the area it’s in as it’s somewhat queit but also plenty of restaurants and food options. Still close by train to any of the busy busy areas.
Tokyo Region
MetroResidences Tokyo
One option for longer term stays in Tokyo is a metro residences apartment. They are from about $1k per month and up depending on location and luxury. I found them an awesome option in Tokyo.
Shuzenji Izu
Hostel Knot This is an awesome little hotel where you sleep in little “cubbies” Around $25 I think it’s the first time I ever stayed in a hostel. Everyone was nice and it’s in a perfect location. Shuzenji is an onsen town and is a good break from the busy busy cities in Japan
