Recently transferred some of my chase preferred points for a 25% bonus on flying blue.
Flying blue points can be used on Air France and KLM flights.
Planning a trip in the first quarter of next year to Europe and will use the points to get a cheap flight from the US.
Some other hacks that people use are applying to credit cards that give you a sign on bonus (aka points) after spending X amount in the first serveral months on the card. Currently I have an Amex platinum card and Chase preferred card that I use to get points when booking travel.
Itβs up in the air if I will keep the Amex as the current yearly fee of $695 is quite high, but it does come with a lot of extra perks and bonuses.
Where will we go?
We will either travel to Barcelonda, Paris, or Amsterdam first then choose a smaller secondary city to start. We may also spend some time at a tennis school like Nadal academy in Majorca or the Montaglou one in France.
